After a month-long effort, the Election Commission on Friday published the draft voter list (Bihar Voter List Draft 2025) for all 243 Assembly constituencies of Bihar. The draft list includes the names of 7.24 crore voters in Bihar. Along with this, all District Magistrates (DMs) have been given copies of the list.

The DMs have handed over hard copies, soft copies, and the list of excluded voters from the draft voter list to the district presidents of all recognized political parties. Any voter can also go to the official website of the Election Commission to check their name in the list for their respective booth.

Meanwhile, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Vinod Singh Gunjiyal held a meeting with representatives of political parties to inform them about the draft voter list.

During the meeting, political parties were told that if any voter’s name is not in the list, they should help them submit applications in the special camps starting Saturday. There is still one month left to add names to the final voter list.

Claims and Objections to Be Accepted at Block and Municipal Offices

From Saturday, the process for claims and objections (for adding, removing, or correcting names) will begin. As per the Election Commission's instructions, special camps will be organized at all block headquarters and municipal offices in the state.
